Position Summary: The new hire will take charge of The Dairy Farm International (DFI) account and other chains such as Toys \'R\' Us, Popular and Amazon. Concurrently, he/she will be managing and responsible for a team of 3 DFI merchandisers. Apart from managing the batteries and lights product categories, the new hire will also be responsible in managing Autocare products business as well as managing the Distributor. Responsibilities: Strategic
  • Responsible for modern trade operation & execution, monthly alignment meeting with Key Account Representatives (KAR)/Merchandisers (MER).
  • Planning monthly activities with Key Account customers.
  • Responsible for listing of new Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), product replacement & change of packaging and new opening account.
  • Conducting quarterly business review with key account customers and trading term agreement (TTA) negotiation.
  • Winning at Retail.
  • Conduct stock forecast planning.
  • Conduct pre & post promotion reviews.
  • Manage gross margin & TI.
  • To secure SOS, align with market share.

Operational
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure promotion execution set up on time and products display with sufficient stock weigh.
  • Develop/maintain Customer Plans for Key Accounts which reflect the businesses strategic and marketing plans.
  • To ensure the sales force coverage follow itinerary plan and to ensure correct selling price in store level.
  • Responsible for share of space as plan.
  • To ensure products are merchandise with first-in-first-out (FIFO).
  • Secure secondary display during promotion.

People Strategy/Leadership
  • Conduct products knowledge updates to the team on quarterly basis.
  • Provision of market intelligent feedback on competitors\' activities on daily basis.
  • Lead the sales team during monthly meetings and communicating on performance and expectations.

What we are looking for:
  • Ideally, applicants should hold a bachelors\' degree. Applicants who hold advanced diplomas/diploma and have decent experience in sales or distributor management are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Applicants with experiences working in consumer goods industry would be ideal.
  • Candidates with both sales & distributor management experiences would be highly sought after.
  • High level of proficiency in both written and oral English.
  • Possess at least intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Team player with excellent attitude.
  • Personable in nature.
  • Strong selling finesse. Independent, reliable and trustworthy to conduct operations, negotiations and presentations.
