We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?We are looking for a Key User, Warehousing & Distribution and the location is at 3 Pioneer Sector, Singapore.About the positionAs a Key User, Warehousing & Distribution, you will:

  • Troubleshooting support for Warehousing and Distribution team, related both to inventory and logistics related topics.
  • Systematically work on continuous improvement and optimize processes to ensure operations running smoothly.
  • Capture the potentials, work on solutions and ensure improvements are implemented
  • Cooperate with stakeholders, internal and external, on process improvements or new processes to be developed.
  • Ensure that the process is aligned with other functions within WGLS and streamline within the own function that there is one way of working with the highest possible quality.
  • Coordinate inventory counts, scraps and obsolescence management in local plants in cooperation with Inventory Experts where applicable.
  • Monitor/support inventory activities.
  • Write instructions, train, coach and support internal and external stakeholders when applicable.
  • Respond to related non-conformities by finding the cause, solving the problem when possible or contact relevant experts/stakeholders.
  • Implement and test new elements/updates in the different systems/processes.
  • Participation in forums, meetings to keep knowledge up to date, workshops as applicable
  • Decide and arrange system accessibility for users.
  • Train new warehouse associates
  • On-time communication about impacts of new changes and solutions relating to processes and systems used
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a professional and pro-active way, both verbally and in written
  • Caring out duties in a safe way, being able to make risk assessments and report to line manager when required.
  • Admin tasks as required such as documentation and reports required
  • Other duties as needed and requested by line manager
  • Serving the customers in an optimal way, providing best services available
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Diploma/ BSc in Logistics, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management or Supply chain management
  • Excellent knowledge from ERPs such as SAP related to warehouse and inventory management
  • Excellent knowledge in Incoterms and Transportation methods
  • Excellent skills in Export documentation, customs procedure and dangerous goods handling
  • Good knowledge in computer software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Good skills in Transportation insurance claim handling
  • Good technical knowledge of engines components is a plus
  • Excellent communication, cooperations and teamwork skills in a multicultural and international work environment
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge in Change Management
