Position: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Sembawang/Yishun

Working Hours: 5.5-6 day work


: As a Kitchen Assistant at Lim Ji Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen crew and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks, contributing to the preparation, cooking, and presentation of our delectable dishes. You will be an integral part of the kitchen team, working collaboratively to maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen area. Responsibilities:

• Assist the chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Support the cooking process by operating basic kitchen equipment and appliances under the supervision of experienced kitchen staff.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to maintain freshness and quality.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist with basic food plating and presentation, following established guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to fulfill customer orders efficiently and promptly.
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and complete tasks within given timeframes.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and cooperative working environment.
