We are a new Thai Restaurant / Cafe opening at Jalan Besar, seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our team! As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and effectively. You will be responsibile for various tasks, including food preparation, dishwashing, maintaing a clean and organised workspace, and assisting the Kitchen Cook.
Key Responsibiities:
- Assist the kitchen team in preparing ingredients and dishes as needed.
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipments.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Prior experience in a kiotchen environment is a plus point but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods of time and perform tasks that may require bending and lifting.
- Flexibility to work long hours and shifts including weekends and holidays.
