What You'll Do
Prepare and serve core Japanese dishes (donburi, sashimi, grilled items) consistently and to standard
Oversee daily kitchen operations and step up to lead during service when needed
Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain smooth coordination across the kitchen
Uphold strict food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Ensure presentation and plating meet brand expectations
Who We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' professional kitchen experience (Japanese cuisine a plus)
Comfortable and skilled with essential kitchen tools
Steady under pressure, dependable, and a supportive team player
Willing to work weekends and public holidays
Motivated to learn and take on more responsibility as the kitchen grows

Competitive salary:
$2,700 - $3,200/month
(based on experience)
