Kitchen Team Lead
who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their craft, and can lead by example while supporting the growth of junior team members.
What You'll Do
Prepare and cook signature Japanese dishes from sushi and donburi to tempura and grilled specialties
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow
Lead and mentor junior staff on prep, cooking, and plating techniques
Step in for the Sous Chef or Head Chef when needed
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and consistency during service
Assist with inventory checks and ingredient ordering to keep the kitchen well-stocked
What You Bring
At least
2 years of hands-on kitchen experience
(Japanese cuisine experience is a plus)
Strong knife skills and a good eye for presentation
Ability to stay calm and reliable under pressure
A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to cleanliness and quality
Flexibility to work
5 days a week
on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
