Job Summary: As an L2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the cloud infrastructure operations and services. Your role will involve handling change implementation, incident management, problem management, and supporting L1 engineers. Additionally, you will be expected to possess a strong understanding of IT Operations and Service Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Change Implementation: Assist in system patching, upgrades, and configuration changes. Participate in enhancing the cloud platform to meet evolving business requirements.
Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents reported by users or L1 engineers. Take ownership of escalated issues and provide timely resolution.
Operational Documentation: Maintain and update operational documentation as required. Ensure documentation is accurate and accessible to team members.
Problem Management: Collaborate with other teams to identify and address underlying problems. Implement solutions to prevent recurring incidents.
Cloud Infrastructure Operations: Utilize your expertise in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to support cloud-based services. Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
DevOps and SRE Environment: Work collaboratively in DevOps and/or SRE environments to promote automation and efficiency. Familiarity with tools like Gitlab, Terraform, and Kubernetes is beneficial.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting cloud infrastructure operations and cloud services in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Be willing to be on standby duty when required.
Strong understanding of IT Operations and Service Management principles.
Experience working with tools like Gitlab, Terraform, and Kubernetes is preferred.
