Lab Technical SpecialistDescription -What a Lab Technical Specialist does in HP:

• The successful candidate will be responsible to Provide support for new and existing machine installation, set-up, validation and qualification.
• Involved in the knowledge-transfer program across organization to:
• Acquire knowledge on Thermal Inkjet Printhead setup criteria for testing.
• Enable equipment software and hardware setup.
• Acquire testing methodology for Thermal Inkjet Printhead in various equipment.
• Perform certification in areas of Equipment operations, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Provide Day-to-Day operational support to all in-process and incoming material testing activities, meeting the TAT of each Task Request.
• Demonstrate capability to support different Printhead Architecture for dispersion Bonding Agent, TIJ ink and Research & Development purpose.
• Troubleshoot root causes for equipment related reliability issues, recommend and implement corrective and preventive action.
• Lead equipment reliability programs to improve equipment uptime and implement projects to improve productivity/Smart Manufacturing, quality, safety and reduce cost.
• Collaborate effectively with Manufacturing, Engineering and Development teams to always maintain the excellence in equipment support.

Individuals who will do well in this role usually possess:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines or equivalent.
• At least 4-6 years of experience in a high mix, high volume technology manufacturing environment, focusing on Repair and Maintenance and testing environment.
• Competent on analytical problem solving, machine gauge repeatability and reproducibility.
• Working knowledge of Contractor safety and EHS, Safe Chemical Handling practices, Operating Supplies, ISO quality and procedures, will be an advantage.
• Able to work shift and overtime on business requirement.
