Lab Technician
Job Description
: * Perform basic geotechnical / soil laboratory testing based on standard methods. * Visually classifying soil samples, preparing samples and performing water content, particle-s : Perform basic geotechnical / soil laboratory testing based on standard methods. Visually classifying soil samples, preparing samples and performing water content, particle-size distribution, Atterberg limits and compaction tests, etc. Calculating test results by performing basic analysis of test data and routine calculations. Setting up test apparatus, operating equipment, maintaining equipment and facilities. Preparing test samples Report any observations, for example inconsistent data, to management. Follow all health safety and housekeeping policies, including keeping the work are organized. May draft technical reports. Assist lab manager in other duties in the laboratory. Laboratory technician may also assist as site technician when laboratory work is slow. Any other Ad-hoc work as assigned. Requirement: Work experience in related field Secondary school/ GCE O Level or above Good computer knowledge and good communication skills
