Job Description
- Processing and storage of patient blood samples in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Preparation and storage of FFPE (Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded) samples
- Sectioning and staining of tissue blocks (frozen and FFP)
- Preparation of DNA, RNA and Protein lysate preparation
- Preparation, storage, documentation and monitoring of all the biomaterials
- Scanning of samples in the Indivumed Laboratory Information Management Systems
- Performing general laboratory activities
- Training new team members
- Diploma/Degree in the field of life sciences
- Experience in handling patient samples (blood, tissue etc.) in a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently, precisely and as part of a team
- Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary workflows with the ability to think and act economically
- Good data documentation, organization and communication skills
- A strong sense of responsibility, commitment and flexibility
- Good knowledge of standard computer programs (MS office)
