Permanent 12 hours rotating DAY/NIGHT shift [8am-8pm / 8pm-8am] MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES . Receive, collect and sort samples . Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality checks in a timely manner . Document all test results accurately and report deviations . Investigate anomalies . Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures . Follow all Quality Control plans . Maintain, calibrate, validate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment . Participate, if any, in inspection of installations . Manage stocks and orders . Follow up on audit findings . Upkeep laboratory standards and participate in laboratory improvement initiatives . Take part in shift handover meetings . Other duties as assigned HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT . Partake in all HSEQ activities . Enforce waste management . Monitor and minimise the environmental impact and energy consumption of laboratory activities . Participate in risk studies . Incorporate and apply HSEQ corrective actions . Comply to HSEQ policies at all times . Achieve zero LTI Participate, if any, in incident reporting Job Requirements Education: NITEC or Diploma in Material Science or Chemistry or equivalent Knowledge: Organic chemistry, analytical chemistry Skills: Microsoft Office, LIMS, SAP Soft skills: Self-driven team player with good communication skills able to plan and priorities
