Responsibilities

• Defines and develops unified 3D artist direction, style and production standards in collaboration with other stakeholders
• Defines the expected level of graphical quality in the game in collaboration with the game designers (technical limitations, scales, narrative content, compositions, gameplay)
• Communicates expectations with the Art team and creates high-quality 3D assets (e.g. Props, Settings, Environments, Characters, Textures) to meet production goals
• Manages art production to meet production schedules, budget, manpower and technical quality targets
• Monitors the integration of graphical data in the Unity engine and defines new elements when necessary
• Manages and develops the 3D Art team and drives the development of 3D art assets by guiding the team with creative inputs and technical know-how
  

• At least 6 years of experience as a 3D Artist with some experience as a lead preferred

• Have shipped at least one mobile game title using Unity Engine

• Experienced in using 3D software (3DSMax/Maya, ZBrush, Substance painter)

• Comfortable and familiar with version control tool

• Good art perception

• Able to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment

• Excellent collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and in teams in hybrid work arrangement

• Able to collaborate with overseas vendors in both English and Chinese language
