The Role Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the Architecture and Design for CRM Data platform including Data Ingestion, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Business Intelligence, and Data Science.
  • Understand, translate, and apply the bank data governance policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with technology and management teams to understand data structure requirements and define standards for how data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed.
  • Provide hands-on experience on standard industry tools for data management and data governance.
  • Become an expert on the bank's requirements around data privacy & secrecy, data quality and records management and provide expertise on design considerations for target state data architecture.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for developing and maintaining data architecture and data quality management framework (DQMF) standards that adhere to industry best practices
  • Be familiar with regulations like GDPR, BCBS and the implications on data privacy and data architecture
  • Provide expertise and experience for business process design in data insights and analytics.
  • Proactively raises and manages risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies along with project management office pertaining to data.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Ideal candidate must have minimum 12+ years of IT experience and proven credentials of delivering in world class engineering teams.
  • With a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position. Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions.
  • Relevant industry certifications are an added plus. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Proven design & architecture experience in a large complex organisation, including stakeholder management.
  • Experience of developing and rolling out business applications / data projects including data migration.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability in handling wide ranging and senior stakeholders (across function/segments/product areas)
  • Experience in handling data in hybrid architecture (Cloud and on Prem)
  • Documentation - Data Dictionary/Data Modelling/Data Lineage/Business Rules/DQ Rules/ Data Standards
  • Good understanding on Data Quality Management and Framework (DQMF)
  • Report Types - Gap Analysis/Problem Analysis/Completeness Dashboards
  • Hands-on with Data Governance tools like Axon, Erwin
  • Strong query language skills (Oracle, SQL, Hive, HBase)
  • Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Alteryx
  • Good experience with Business Intelligence tools and Data Warehousing
  • Strong data analysis skills using PowerBI, Hive, Spark, Python, R, DataIKU and MicroStrategy
  • Presentation Skills - Data Story telling using visualisations
