The primary role of the lead data architect is to design, architect, and evolve our data infrastructure - from Data Lakes to Data Science.
Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain standardized schema and data definitions across the organization that adheres to industry standard
• Design, optimize, and maintain best practice data warehouse solutions and data models for the storage and retrieval of data
• Lead the implementation of a robust data quality management process with automated checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of data within Engagement
• Build and implement processes around data retention and lifecycle management
• Work with business to analyze and document structural requirements for new systems and applications, designing conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Establish best practice data governance as a strong foundation for being a data informed organization
• Be the go to expert for the business - provide guidance in matters of data quality and management on the current architecture

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience as Data Architect, or similar role
• Well verse with designing and architecting complex data infrastructure on both Cloud and On Prem and creating and implementing business applications and data migration projects
• Database structure principles and data mining, ETL processes and designs
• Data architecture, data modeling, schema design and effective data management skills
• Querying and working on large datasets
• Organizational and analytical abilities and outstanding problem solver
• SQL / Presto / Hive / Spark / DatalKU
• Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or equivalent)
• Preferably have experience in Data Governance tools like Axon, Erwin
• Excellent communication skills and experienced working with various stakeholders

Education:

• Degree in Tech related field
