What the role is:

As a Lead Engineer/Engineer in the Nexus Portfolio Management Office, you will undertake central tasks such as analysis & planning, coordination, and collaboration across the Programme Management Group. #LI-CL1

What you will be working on:

• Perform research and data analysis to identify business trends and relevant issues in PMG. Collaborating with multi-HTDs/cross-cutting PMCs to develop and implement new programmes to optimise strategic benefits or operational efficiency Tracking of performance metrics of PMG and their resource utilisation Recommend best practices to enhance PMG competency development and training Monitoring of industry collaboration & vendor workstreams and issues Presenting recommendations to management and other stakeholders. Primary point-of-contact within PMG and external units for coordination on non-project specific issues and processes, including: o Recommend improvements with SAO on PMG's internal processes (e.g. KM, QMS) o Assist PMCs in consolidation of info for submission when necessary o Management of PMG internal processes, e.g. formation of IPMTs o Manage interfaces between Cap Plan, PMCs, and other units (EG, COE, CS) for on cross-unit process and interface o Maintain close rapport and relationship with both internal (i.e., PMCs, CoEs, Capability Planning pillar and Capability Sustainment etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g. Home Team Departments, System Contractors etc.) Assist Assistant Chief Executive, PMG in reporting to MHA/HTX management.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or relevant disciplines. At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience Good analytical, interpersonal, communications and facilitation skills. Competent, self-motivated, pro-active, dedicated and responsible self-starter. Experience in planning, trend analysis, process creation/transformation, business process engineering will be an advantage. All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure overtime, based on performance.
