Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Work with stakeholders to design an appropriate data architecture and technical process flow.
Risk Management
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Governance
Perform day to day administration of the ServiceNow tool
Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow tool across production and non-production environments, including:
  • Manage systems changes through established change request process &provide status reports to the relevant parties.
  • Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
  • Conduct root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures.
  • Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively, implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting patch / release management issues.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Enterprise Technology (ET) ServiceNow COE to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Global - ITSM/ITOM, GRC, Finance, Legal, HR
Our Ideal Candidate
Required Skills
  • ServiceNow Certified ServiceNow Administrator.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in JavaScript.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts easily.
  • A strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
  • Experience in ServiceNow as a System Administrator or similar responsibility.
  • Excellent proficiency in HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST API design, and security.
  • Experience with Angular JS, Bootstrap, HTML5, SaSS.
  • Core understanding of workflow-based application design patterns.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases.
  • Relevant IT architecture experience.
  • Understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
Obtained Any of the Following Training
  • ServiceNow System Administrator
  • ServiceNow Scripting
  • ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator
  • ServiceNow Application Creation
  • ServiceNow Service Portal Administration
Preferred Skills
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
  • Web Services integration experience, especially REST.
  • Strong understanding and professional experience of Bootstrap, AngularJS v1 and Sass.
  • Demonstrable basic graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Professional experience in JavaScript.
