The Lead Insights & Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the I&A knowledge agenda to enable the business to deliver its strategic commercial goals. This role is a critical part of the consumer-centric culture we are building in our business, and therefore would be a highly visible leader in the business, closely working with their line manager and the Managing Director - AMEA Snacks, in engaging markets and other departments on our agenda.Role responsibilities / KPIs: Support the team in delivering our overall commercial targets - including budgeted NSV and profit growth for the region, as well as meeting targeted A&P and OH spends Lead the Consumer and Shopper Insights and Analytics knowledge agenda - delivering actionable insights from qualitative, quantitative and behavioural research Contribute expert advice and guidance to the commercial teams on the strategic implementation of actionable insights in order to deliver continuous business growth Oversee and guide the design, planning and implementation of strategic market research projects and creative analytical solutions to assist commercial teams to identify and pursue opportunities for business growth Supervise two Insights and Analytics Managers who will be focusing on data analytics, including providing regular market performance reviews Manage key research vendor relationships and internal research requests and assess the external response to brand, category and shopper initiatives (activations) to ensure relevant, accurate and timely data is utilised to inform all projects Continually improve I&A capabilities, by exploring new methodologies, and maximizing the value derived from currently available research and databases Effective management of Insights and Planning budget and resources Cultivate high performance culture and behaviours in the team, with a focus on training marketing and sales to become more externally oriented Effective development and management of strong working relationships with external stakeholders, including data providers and vendors Ensure the Annual Planning process delivered on time and in full As a People Manager, play a key leadership role in role modelling and driving a high-performance culture that contributes to strong team, functional and BU engagement scoresKnowledge, skills and experience Bachelors degree (at a minimum) in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a closely-related field, ideally specializing in market research / analytics 10+ years prior sales analytics work experience preferably in a multinational FMCG Business analytics and commercial acumen (expert with Scan and Panel data and software - IRI or Nielsen) Strong track record in owning and delivering strategic insights, project plans and partnering with senior leaders and commercial teams Strategic thinker with the ability to be agile in navigating complex situations Regional experience working in matrix organisations across multiple markets Experienced people leader with the ability to lead, inspire & develop others In-depth experience on innovation & brand communication development Manage and build relationships with a diverse range of teams across multiple markets Strong influencing and change management skills Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Strong P&L understanding
