The successful candidate shall be an experienced pedagogist with a passion for nurturing every child to become an everyday hero who drives positive change for himself / herself, others and the world. He/She is also concerned about animal welfare, wildlife conservation, and sustainability, and is the internal expert to internal stakeholders on matters concerning pedagogical best practices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 The \xe2\x80\x9cGo-To\xe2\x80\x9d person to provide guidance and advisory to internal staff concerning pedagogical best practices.

\xc2\xb7 Develop and execute educational programs, initiatives, and interactive missions that nurture critical life skills while promoting environmental conservation, and sustainable practices, aligned with our organization\'s mission and initiatives like Ranger Buddies.

\xc2\xb7 Author white papers, apply pedagogical best practices, research and frameworks to create engaging and effective learning experiences for children, developing future readiness by developing critical life skills, fostering an appreciation for animals, nature, and the importance of conservation.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and animal care professionals to curate content, and ensure the accuracy, relevance, and impact of our educational content and programs.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our educational initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive audience engagement, learning outcomes, and environmental awareness.

\xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and research in edutainment, pedagogy and zoological education, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

\xc2\xb7 Other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Education, Animal Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

\xc2\xb7 At least 10 years in related experience.

\xc2\xb7 Proven entrepreneurial mindset or extensive professional experience in a pedagogical role within animal care, environmental conservation, or sustainability education.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically, with a track record of driving innovation and impact in education.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in launching or leading a startup or innovative venture within the animal care, behavioural science, or pedagogy sector, particularly involving children\'s initiatives like Ranger Buddies.

\xc2\xb7 Established network of contacts within the animal care, environmental conservation, or sustainability education community.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including children, parents, and animal care professionals.

\xc2\xb7 Passionate about creating meaningful educational experiences that inspire, educate and nurture future generations.

\xc2\xb7 Multilingual capabilities and experience working in cross-cultural settings.
