Job Description


The position needs to be a key team player to support the business growth of the assigned product category. You will need to have a keen knowledge of market insights and competition benchmark to build a strong winning strategy which includes business development support to distributors in the region and to deploy the necessary ATL & BTL activities. A proactive attitude to improve or improvise process and strategy is vital, having that \xe2\x80\x9cChange for a better good\xe2\x80\x9d mindset motivates positive result.

Your Team

In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Product Planning and Strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for category sales and product roadmap of category assigned, providing business development support to distributors and planning sales forecast in Asia Pacific region.
  • Engage pro-actively in product sales and marketing, channel penetration and development to expand market share in each country in the region.
  • Responsible for Roadmap management (Price, Spec, SKU, SOP, RTS)
  • Responsible for NPI and sales tracking (Product lifecycle/Price fluctuation/Launch dates details tracking)
  • Product compliance administrative duty (Coordination, ROI)
  • Take charge of Product management (Forecast, Testing, Evaluation report, Compare, Samples assignment, Sales pitch material, Demo guidelines, Product core communication)
  • Conduct Product Training Workshops for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Distributor, Media, Dealer, Promoter, Trainer, Employees etc.)
  • Responsible for Area Product Strategy (Analysis and identifying market trends, customer needs, competition to strengthen product branding)
  • Support internal departments in all aspects related to the technicality and details of the assigned product category.
  • Attend fortnight product quality conference call and monthly global product line manager alignment conference call
  • Attend to fortnight Business Development Manager alignment and monthly Regional product marketing meetings
  • Prepare Monthly Sales Report
  • Responsible for PSI Management
  • Study and analyze business potential for new category products assigned
  • Drive input into the creative strategy of assigned products across all consumer touchpoints (ie. packaging, assets, content, retail display, merch) on both a global and region level capacity
  • Be a partner to the marketing team, working with external agencies and brand partners to drive initiatives and actions that help support the overall product and category business initiatives
  • Support PR / Comms initiative through participation, effectively communicate with outside press and various public facing events, representing the product and category as required
  • Collaborating with the digital team to provide APAC inputs for the global social content calendar for category assigned
What You Need
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is a must, especially in MS Excel VLook-Up and Pivot Table
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in product marketing and management or related field with deep knowledge in audio industry.
  • Data driven with strong data analytical capability
  • Able to handle confidentiality and strong conflict management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Team Player and excellent communication skills
  • Meticulous with an eye for details
  • Able to troubleshoot IT and network issues for assigned category

  • Talent and aptitude to analyse and solve problems independently.
  • Prior experience in consumer electronics or FMCG industries.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
