What the role is:Lead Specialist, Lead Digital Services Manager/ IT Services (Applications & Products)What you will be working on:As Lead Specialist, you will formulate and implement an IT strategy that is aligned with TP\'s vision and mission.Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluate business needs, recommend, and propose the most cost-effective and viable solution/product.
• Develop, lead, and direct any ongoing development, modification, and maintenance of applications, providing support to the respective teams.
• Oversee the provision of third-level technical support for applications, systems, and programs; lead the troubleshooting, analyse issues, provide recommendations, and ensure follow-through.
• Manage stakeholders with the respective teams, provide guidance, and connect the dots to ensure services provided meet the business needs and are aligned with TP\'s vision and goals.
• Adopt project management best practices and standardise the process among different project teams, including change control management, scope management, and risk management, etc.
• Provide effective communication in sharing the solution/product and perform training and demonstration when required.
• Provide regular progress updates for solution/product to TP\'s management team.
• Provide guidance and oversee software change management processes and technology upgrades to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Analyse and participate in IT architectural design, utilising available knowledge assets and resources to optimise costs.
• Ensure compliance with governance standards with procedures, security practices, and documentation, in accordance with Whole-of-Government and TP\'s IT policies.

What we are looking for:

• At least 12 years of IT working experience, of which at least 7 years are in a managerial position in IT planning and applications management.
• Strong leadership, project management, time management, and people development skills.
• Experience in stakeholder management, vendor management, change management, and risk management.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with teams.
• Persuasive oral, and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in managing student academic enterprise systems.
• Experience in creating prototypes, executing pilot projects, designing integration architectures, and implementing end-to-end solutions.
• Experience in architecting and managing applications in the Cloud
• Relevant industry certification(s) such as CITPM/PMP, COMIT, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified ITIL v4, TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), as well as cloud-related ones such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc., will be preferred.
