Job Description

What the role is:Senior/Business Analyst / IT Services (Applications & Products)What you will be working on:

• Lead and participate in multiple projects with stakeholders, ensuring proper management of project scope and schedule
• Review and prioritise business needs with the stakeholders
• Manage the stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements and deliverables
• Review change requests, perform fit-gap analysis, and propose alternatives as and when necessary
• Serve as the point of contact or liaison officer across functional teams, including external vendors on business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancements, and implementations
• Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes through business and system process analysis
• Collaborate with developer to ensure solution implemented meets the requirements
• Develop test plan and act as tester during the quality assurance process
• Support any system conversions, upgrades and enhancements
• Identify and recommend system improvement when opportunities arise.

What we are looking for:

• At least 5 years of IT working experience, of which at least 3 years are in solution design and implementation or consulting.
• Development experience for web and mobile applications, with the ability to evaluate applications for performance issues, bugs, and design flaws.
• Experience in architecting and deploying cloud-based solutions that leverage native cloud services in Azure or AWS or having technical skills in Python.
• Possess system thinking and design thinking skills.
• Ability to operate as a high-performing member in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of IT governance and operations, with a good understanding of application security and data protection. Familiarity with GovTech's IM8 policies and standards will be advantageous.
• Relevant industry certification(s) such as Certified ITIL v4, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified in International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), Certificate in Business Analyst (IIBA), as well as cloud-related ones such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc., will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience in real-time event processing on IoT platforms and disruptive technologies such as machine learning, blockchain, and cognitive technologies will be advantageous.
