• Project Management: Develop and manage project schedules for service deployment and upgrades, ensuring timely and successful completion. Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Technical Oversight: Ensure the TV platform operates efficiently, meets quality standards, and integrates new technologies. Lead and oversee large-scale TV transformation programs, focusing on migrating legacy systems to Hybrid cloud-based solutions. Oversee the integration of new cloud-based playout, OSS/BSS solution with existing systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including content providers, IT, network engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment, optimize project timelines and resolve issues. Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and DevOps practices to accelerate development cycles and improve time-to-market. Effectively manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects while providing valuable insights for decision-making and process improvement.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining necessary documentation for audit purposes.
• Budgeting: Developing capital equipment budgets and planning for future technological upgrades. Manage budgets and resources, optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide strategic decision-making, integrate them into the end-to-end service delivery platform.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and analyses on project advancements, highlighting achievements and potential solutions.

Skills for Success:

• Engineering Diploma or Degree, or equivalent professional qualification.
• More than 10 years relevant work experience.
• Strong technical background in broadcast engineering, project management skills, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and software tools.
• Understanding of budgeting and financial planning processes for technical projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ITU guidelines for broadcast engineering).
• Knowledge of current and emerging technologies in the TV Engineering field.
• Expertise in creating and interpreting technical plans, schedules, and diagrams.
• Understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes in engineering projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics tracking.
• Knowledge of risk management strategies in technical projects.
• Familiarity with contract preparation and management.
• Understanding of resource allocation and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Knowledge of change management processes in technical environments.
• Understanding of systems integration and interoperability issues.
