DESIGNATION : Lead Strategist (Strategy & Transformation)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lead Strategist position plays a key role in helping us achieve our short- and long-term social mission and business objectives.
They will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to lead cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of key strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.
The key responsibilities include:

• Drive the end-to-end development of the company’s strategic plans and initiatives
• Provide analytical expertise in leveraging internal and external data to support business planning and decision making
• Manage and align the business’s KPI infrastructure in order to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against plans and budgets as well as strategic objectives.
• Support the development of regular performance reports for the business’s leaders as well as facilitating cross-functional performance reviews for this leadership
• Lead or support specific strategic initiatives to ensure delivery of committed KPIs
• Support and drive cross-BU initiatives, internal and external communications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Equivalent of 6 to 8 years in management consulting, corporate strategic planning, or similar
• Working experience in retail, FMCG, or other B2C sectors, preferably with hands-on and/or P&L experience in operations
• Excellent financial, modelling and data analytics skill with strong business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to translate complex concepts and data into digestible, actionable insights
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills tailored to different groups of stakeholders
• Excellent Project management skills and the ability to lead large multi-function teams
• Motivated team player and self-starter
