The position is responsible to support achievement of the business plan by taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process, which includes managing all aspects of tender work and the final compilation of all documents in a completed bid package for submission to the customer before the bid closing date.What You Will Do: \xe2\x80\x8bEnsure all assigned Tenders / Request For Quotes/Information are submitted on time and in accordance with the company\'s standards and guidelinesTo manage all aspects of tender submission by leading and coordinating the preparation of bid submission and setting timelines with all stakeholdersA strong team player and required to collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Legal, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Finance, HR, Operations, Sales and other subject matter experts, to gather information and develop bid strategiesFollow up and ensure all stakeholders provide information on time in response to customer\'s requirementsReview and compile all documents provided by stakeholders for compilation for final bid submissionCompetency in reviewing customers\' specification/requirements and work with Engineering for Quotation \xe2\x80\x9cBill of Materials\xe2\x80\x9d (BOM)Strong engagement with Costing and SCM on competitive costings analysis.Work with Sales on winning strategies and develop pricing presentation for Management reviewManage and follow up of outstanding points/clarifications to be closed outSupport superiors in guiding the junior team member(s)Data gathering and analysis as when required by direct supervisorPerform any additional tasks as assigned by direct supervisor and/or management from time to timeWhat You Have:Industry KnowledgeRelated tendering experience dealing with Pressure Control - Surface Wellhead and X\'mas Tree equipmentAdvantageous to have experience in a senior role within the tender teamFamiliar with ERP System and MS officeCustomer Focus:Able to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentFosters strong relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvementEffective Communications:Communicates well downward, upward, and outwardEmploys appropriate methods of persuasion when soliciting agreementAdditional Info: \xe2\x80\x8bCaterpillar is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status; however, as a global company, Caterpillar offers many job opportunities outside of Singapore which can be found through our employment website at .What You Will Get:Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
