  • Provide thought leadership on quality and testing practices to develop the skills and capability of individuals and teams across the organisation.
  • Actively network with other members of the NCS team, external specialists, tool vendors etc.
  • Assess opportunities for innovation in the delivery of quality services to our clients.
Project Delivery
  • Understand and provide advices on testing delivery
  • Review existing and creation of test strategies for projects.
  • Review reporting on testing progress and activities to project stakeholders and ensures those relationships are managed in a professional manner.
  • Review process adoption and advise process and methodology improvements.
Sales Support
  • Support business development staff in pre-sales meetings gathering requirements and advise on potential solutions.
  • Work with sales teams to provide tender responses on quality and testing services, activity scope, resource estimation, and pricing.
  • Identify potential areas for new business development and report to NCS account managers
Consulting
  • Conduct Senior Consulting projects \xe2\x80\x93 short term projects such as test practice reviews and project quality health checks.
  • Create and advise on overall test improvement strategies, addressing whole-of-lifecycle quality focus and pathway-to-production optimisation
Training
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually.
  • Utilise a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods to accommodate different learning preferences.
  • Demonstrates active listening skills to understand trainees\' needs and address their questions and concerns.
A little about you:
  • Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.
  • Typically 10 years plus experience in software testing plus at least 5 years in a leadership role, managing teams of 10+ people.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle models and software test methodologies.
  • Thorough knowledge of both functional and non-functional testing activities.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivator with a positive outlook and \xe2\x80\x98can-do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude.
  • Good knowledge of passive and active coaching.
  • Passion for developing others and helping customers.
  • Thorough knowledge of presentation techniques and teaching principles.
  • Good knowledge of test tools covering test management, automation, defect reporting, and version control.
  • Excellent communication skills with both oral & written English, information presentation and visualisation.
