The Enablement team aims to be the strategic partner of the T&S team., driving collaboration, optimization, and synergy for Trust & Safety (T&S) global functioning, whereas other T&S functions fight at the frontline for content integrity and community safety.
As our international organization expands rapidly and becomes more complex, the Enablement team identifies strategic priorities, opportunities, pain points, provides insights and revolutionary solutions; so that we build better efficiency and consistency into the organization and promote global synergy under localized decision making. Our L&D team helps the business develop through skill-set building from a talent development perspective. They drive the growth of the business through up-skilling T&S team members, during all stages of their careers.
What will I be doing?
A) Training Capability (End-To-End) - Plan and identify regional training needs with various level stakeholders using various strategies (i.e. beyond simple surveys - deep dive into the business practices, advanced diagnosis, etc.)

  • Design and deliver effective and impactful regional training programmes/plans/curriculum that truly help the T&S APAC (functions/team and people) grow at scale.
  • Work closely with global L&D colleagues, carry out the implementation of the global L&D strategy/initiatives, assist in the establishment of a world-class L&D system for TnS
  • Accurately measure training sessions and programmes through targeted quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Seamlessly use various training platforms/tools/Learning Management Systems/various technologies to engage learners both online and offline (i.e. EdCast, Articulate, Mentimeter, highly proficient in all video-conferencing software)
  • Establish yourself as a reliable, go-to L&D expert and partner for all T&S APAC related training needs (have a strong leadership-partnership presence vs executor-follower presence)
B) People Management and Development
  • Organize and plan team headcount while being able to accurately recruit right-fit/talented training team members
  • Establish and oversee the team's workflow, assign/delegate tasks in an effective manner, ensure a "customer"-centric working atmosphere with good user awareness;
  • Develop, assess, and retain L&D specialists (trainers and supporting team members) through both internal and external train-the-trainer curriculum and career path design
  • Manage overall training budget and is experienced working with Finance/Procurement at a regional level to responsibly decide internal vs external training solutions
  • Create a positive, growth-mindset culture within the training team and the T&S APAC broader teams

  • Highly competent in training session delivery online and offline as you will need to serve as a role model and lead from the front
  • A true team player, with a global vision and a wholehearted inclusive mindset, be able to navigate across functions and cultures;
  • Previous Training team management experience because the ability to accurately assess and engage L&D specialists is key to retaining and motivating them
  • Clear, concise and result-oriented decision-making skills through extensive regional project management experience
  • Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable to thrive in the ever-changing ByteDance culture
  • Professional communication skills in English
