Develop and implement leasing strategies and initiatives to maximize occupancy, rental income, and tenant satisfaction
Identify leasing opportunities and prospective tenants that align with the positioning and target market of each mall, and develop relationships with local and national retailers, brands, and businesses.
Negotiate lease agreements, including terms and conditions, rental rates, lease incentives, and lease renewals, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Collaborate with property management teams to conduct market research and analysis, assess competitive landscape, and identify trends and opportunities in the retail market.
Develop and maintain leasing budgets, forecasts, and reports, and track leasing activity, occupancy rates, and financial performance against targets and benchmarks.
Manage tenant relations and communication, including addressing tenant inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring tenant compliance with lease terms and property rules and regulations.
Work closely with marketing and promotions teams to develop and execute marketing and leasing campaigns and events to drive traffic, sales, and brand awareness for our malls.
Coordinate with legal, finance, and other internal stakeholders to review and approve lease documents, amendments, and other leasing-related agreements.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our malls and attract potential tenants and partners.
Stay abreast of market trends, consumer preferences, and industry best practices in retail leasing and shopping center management, and incorporate them into our leasing strategies and initiatives.
