KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Academic SupportDeliver and/or facilitate modules aligned to your area of expertise in accordance with prescribed lesson plans and learning outcomes. Coordinate with Heads of Programme, Module Leaders, and/or associates on assessments, moderation, and examinations. Monitor student performance and provide academic advisement and progression counselling.

Academic Quality AssuranceImplement and uphold SIM GE academic policies, ensuring rigorous, fair, and consistent assessment standards and workflows.

Administrative CollaborationWork with internal departments to support teaching, learning, and assessment-related matters within your domain expertise.

Course Design and DevelopmentContribute to the design and development of effective face-to-face, blended, and online learning materials in collaboration with academic leads.

Faculty Learning and DevelopmentSupport faculty development by creating teaching resources, sharing best practices, and contributing to pedagogical research. Facilitate communities of practice and provide peer support for instructional improvement. Assist in organising faculty onboarding sessions, training, and academic events to promote engagement and continuous learning.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic EducationA Master's degree in one of the disciplines within the department is required. A Doctorate would be an added advantage.

ExperienceA minimum of 5 years of relevant work and teaching experience in a field or discipline relevant to the department in a higher education environment is preferred. Competencies in pedagogy and people management. Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, adult learning principles, and effective assessment strategies. Experience working with subject matter experts to develop accurate, relevant content, including demonstrated facilitation skills. Knowledge of digital learning tools and the ability to select teaching methods appropriate for the industry and audience.

SkillsComfortable working independently or as a team player who can work across various levels, both internal and external to the organisation. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across teams. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
