[What the role is]

This is a 2 year contract position as Lecturer, Data Analytics/AI & Data Engineering in the School of InfoComm Technology.

[What you will be working on]

Candidates are required to perform the following tasks for our full-time and part-time course offerings:

• Design and develop curriculum, facilitate student learning, supervise projects, conduct assessments
• Perform associated tasks for modules related to Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and other InfoComm Technology related modules;
• Support student development in areas of Education and Career Guidance;
• Work with enterprises to develop partnership opportunities for curriculum development, industry projects and training of adult learners
• Source for internship opportunities with industry partners and supervise student internships; and
• Participate in ad hoc projects pertaining to academic enhancement, student development, publicity and outreach and Continuing Education and Training (CET).

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in implementing Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics and/or AI solutions.
• Proficient in Analytical Programming using Python and/or other related programming languages.

• Experience in Data Analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI and CRISP-DM/ SEMMA / Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow/ PyTorch;
• Experience in Data Engineering, designing and building systems for collecting and analysing data (structured and unstructured) at scale.
• Apply Machine Learning, Deep Learning and/or Reinforcement Learning using large-scale real-world data
• Knowledge of Cloud/Data Engineering Dev Ops tools such as Azure/AWS Cloud, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Airbyte will be an advantage.
