What the role is:

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Medical Doctor in the School of Health Sciences.

What you will be working on:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:



Plan, develop and conduct lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions for Diploma, Specialist and Advanced Diploma modules in at least two of the following areas:

Human Biology

Pharmacology

Health Assessment

Implement the latest ICT-enabled learning pedagogies and support the development of such tools.

Support students\' local and overseas programmes.

What we are looking for:

Relevant qualification in medicine or equivalent

Familiar with clinical practice at hospital wards and the teaching of the inter-relationship between normal body functioning and the underlying physiology, pathophysiological mechanism of diseases states and their pharmacological management is essential.

At least 3 years\' working experience in clinical and/or hospital setting

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Pre-Requisites

Post- Graduate Diploma in Higher Education, Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and/or Diploma in Adult Continuing Education (DACE)
