What the role is:

This position is under the School of Business which offers the Diploma in Accountancy and Finance.

What you will be working on:

• Conduct and deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners \xe2\x80\xa2 Design, prepare and develop teaching and learning materials as well as to set and mark assessments \xe2\x80\xa2 Support development of accountancy and/or finance related modules, including in Sustainability, Fintech and/or Digitalisation areas \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the school\'s strategic initiatives through participation in committee work, student developmental activities, events and competitions \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan, develop and conduct customized workshops to adult learners \xe2\x80\xa2 Undertake industry or consultancy projects For Senior Lecturer, additional responsibilities include \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead academic programmes in relevant areas as identified by the School \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the development, review and enhancement of current and new programmes \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive industry projects and manage a team of lecturers and students to ensure project goals are met and students\' learning is achieved \xe2\x80\xa2 Take on leadership committee roles

What we are looking for:

• Academic training in Accounting or Business Administration related discipline or holders of professional qualification such as CFA, CA, ACCA, ICAEW \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently as well as in a team environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Have a passion for developing talents and enjoy working with youths and adult learners \xe2\x80\xa2 Applicants with strong digital skills and/or experience in sustainability reporting or sustainable finance preferably in a hospitality related sector will have an advantage
