About The Job
The Teaching & Learning Centre (TLC) promotes teaching excellence, learner development, and scholarly practice in higher education. We support the University community through research-informed pedagogies and innovative learning support strategies.
We are seeking an academic with a teaching and research profile related to the fields of educational evaluation and adult learning. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes/courses and learning support provisions for adult learners and students in higher education. S/he will also deliver multi-mode communication to stakeholders and contribute to the research strengths of adult learning/education and learning support in higher education through publications and securing research grants.
What You Will Be Doing

• Design and teach courses related to the field of education and/or adult learning.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the Centre's provisions through data-informed approaches and applied educational research.

• Contribute to the development of scalable learning support provisions for adult and part-time learners in blended and online modalities.

• Advance a research agenda in education/adult learning and student learning support, with outputs in peer-reviewed journals and potential for external funding.
• Collaborate with faculty, support units, and external partners to enhance learner success and promote inclusive, evidence-based learning support practices.

Requirements

• A doctoral qualification in education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering courses or learning support provisions in higher education.

• A research profile in areas at the intersections of adult learning/education and educational evaluation.

• Experience teaching in blended or online modes and applying learning analytics or feedback to improve teaching and learning design.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
