What the role is:Join an vibrant team of accounting educators who play a key role in shaping the future generation of accounting professionals. You will play a key role to engage learners across different age groups and backgrounds and you have the relevant experience in various accounting disciplines including new emerging areas of digitalisation in accounting and sustainability reporting. You are a multi-tasker with a warm personality and passionate about grooming the next generation of talent for the accountancy sector.What you will be working on:Responsible for module development, delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and markingCoach and mentor both PET and CET learnersInvolved in student development activities beyond the classroomReach out to prospective learners for PET and CET coursesPlan, lead and manage poly-wide and industry projectsPerform administrative and academic dutiesWhat we are looking for:Relevant qualification in AccountancyWork experience in Assurance, Forensic Accounting, Internal Controls & Risk Management, Costing and Management AccountingExperience in automating accounting related processes using RPA, sustainability accounting or carbon accountingStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multi-taskIT savvy and able to harness technology to enhance teaching and learningCandidate should possess relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:AuditingInternal Controls & Risk ManagementForensic AccountingCosting and Management AccountingRobotic Process AutomationData Analytics & ModellingSustainability or Carbon AccountingAbout Nanyang Polytechnic:Nanyang Polytechnic is committed to providing quality education and training to prepare our graduates for life and work, equipping them to contribute to the technological, economic and social development of Singapore.
