The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for full-time lecturer/senior lecturer position in the Social Scie The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for full-time lecturer/senior lecturer position in the Social Science fields. and Requirements Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a Social Science discipline with a proven track record of effective teaching and research in any area of the social sciences, broadly defined. The ideal candidate will complement and enhance our existing faculty strengths in sociology, anthropology, geography, economics, psychology, political science, and history. We particularly encourage applications from scholars who are engaged in interdisciplinary research and who have experience in broad-based social science teaching including both classic and contemporary works. The successful candidate will (1) teach and develop our team-taught undergraduate Social Science core course, an interdisciplinary course that examines foundational works from a diverse range of social science disciplines and (2) design and deliver Social Science elective courses in the candidate's area of specialization. The ideal candidate will contribute to teaching and curriculum development in our Design, Technology and Society (DTS) minor program, a design-focused variation of Science, Technology and Society (STS) studies that emphasizes critical analysis of the social dimensions of design processes and projects.
