Job Description


Job Scope:

  • Manage cases filed through analysing, reviewing, monitoring and processing documents in accordance with the applicable legislation, rules, practice directions, standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Draft notices and general correspondence and liaise with lawyers, litigants-in-person and other external agencies to facilitate the efficient disposal of cases.
  • Compile, organise and maintain accurate and up-to-date case information and statistics on caseload and disposal.
  • Participate as a team member and be involved in projects that affect the operations of the Legal Directorate.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Legal Studies/Law and Management from a recognised Polytechnic or a good degree from a recognised University. Legal training will be an advantage.
  • Preferably with at least 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of working experience.
  • Strong in administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Organised, good with details and meticulous with commitment to deliver high quality work.
  • Pro-active and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Location: Clarke Quay / City HallContract Period: 6 monthsSalary: $2800 to $3200/month (depending on experience)Working Arrangement: Mon-Fri
