Legal Counsel 6 Months Contract

Job Description
:
Primary areas
- Provide legal advice, analysis, research and support in a broad range of contractual issues
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial, real estate, employment, procurement, supply chain, distribution, and other contracts
- Provide legal support in crisis management
- Manage regulatory inquiries or investigations
- Manage potential and actual civil litigation matters and disputes, and work closely with external legal counsel
- Monitor and report on statutory and regulatory compliance matters, including personal data protection
- Provide training to business units on changes to laws and regulations
- Participating in ad-hoc strategic projects
- Manage Group insurance portfolio
- Support harmonisation of policies and processes within the Group
- A law degree and admitted to the Singapore Bar (other Commonwealth jurisdictions may be considered) with 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. Candidate should highlight any corporate secretarial and/or in-house experience
- Team player
- Effective and diplomatic communicator
- Good ability in managing multiple stakeholders in a complex and dynamic structure
- Able to adapt to changing needs
- A good eye for detail
- Possess analytical and problem solving mindset
- Versatile, agile and adaptable
