About Our Client:

Our client is an established player within the financial services sector. They have strong regional footprints and are now looking to expanding the legal team due to increasing business needs. This would be a great opportunity for junior lawyers to join a high performing team and be mentored under industry veterans.

Responsibilities:

As a Legal Counsel, you will be drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate agreements (specific to insurance and other general corporate matters). You will provide timely and accurate legal advice on contractual, regulatory, corporate governance and litigation issues, as well as ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies that are applicable to an insurance business. You will be working closely with the wider business team to provide legal advisory and also handle Corporate Secretarial matters (board meetings, minutes, filings of relevant documents and submissions).

Requirements:

You are a Singapore qualified lawyer with a background working in insurance companies or advising insurance clients and have cross-border experience. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and are willing to provide corporate secretarial support to the team.
