You will provide critical support in legal negotiations, ensuring robust fund compliance as well as partnering with their fund manager to support and evaluate structured product transactions and the legal complexities of other financial instruments. You will be heavily involved in the transaction structuring, execution, fund governance and control as well providing advice to business teams on legal matters affecting the business. The role will also have broader legal responsibilities extending to risk disclosures, marketing activity, investor liaison and implementation of regulatory changes that impact the business.
This is a diverse but exciting opportunity working with a great group so an energy and "make it happen" attitude combined with realistic pragmatism is needed. You will have 3 years + PQE as a qualified lawyer with solid experience in financial services, investment funds, asset or investment management. Previous inhouse counsel experience and a knowledge of investment fund documentation will be highly regarded but on the job training will be provided.
