Provide detailed reviews of contracts and all other legal documents to enable the Employer and their associated parties to make an informed decision and understand the risks and obligations entered into by signing such documents;
Prepare legal documents to be used by the Employer and their associated parties;
Represent, where authorised, the Employer and their associated parties in meetings, arbitration hearings and courts to present and defend the Employer’s (or associated parties’) legal rights and obligations;
Assist in the commercial aspects of the firm, including providing input to price negotiations and contract terms;
Assisting in corporate secretarial functions including the establishment of new entities, opening of bank accounts and drafting of board resolutions;
Providing relevant development and training to other members of the Employer’s team to enable them to understand relevant legal and contractual issues
All other reasonable requests from the Employer.
In concrete terms this has meant a lot of contract review and contract drafting
