About the RoleThe candidate will support the growth of Life & Health Financial Solutions in the APAC market with a focus on origination activities, especially on key markets like Japan and South Korea.The role is client facing and requires the ability to identify opportunities, build solutions, implement client specific business strategies and execute structured solutions to meet Swiss Re\'s Life & Health growth ambitions. The role requires strong collaboration skills working across different teams within Swiss Re to execute the right solutions for our clients.Key Accountabilities:

• The primary responsibility of this role will be to originate and support the execution of L&H financial solutions in APAC. This includes:
• To develop, build relationship and maintain regular strategic dialogue with our clients\' key decision makers (head of capital management, CFOs and Chief Actuaries) to identify opportunities for structured reinsurance solutions.
• To initiate and maintain dialogue with clients on regulatory, accounting and fiscal matters with the aim of providing bespoke solutions to their needs
• Be close to the development of the macroeconomic environment impacting our clients and actively develop solutions that are relevant to those issues
• To have a deep understanding of the APAC markets both in respect of client\'s needs and local regulatory requirements.
• Represent Swiss Re at external industry events.
• To build a strong network of contacts including clients, consultants, actuarial consultants, regulatory bodies and banks to create a strong market presence.
• To have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Fostering a strong team spirit of collaboration, coaching, innovation and execution orientation.
• Working with key internal stakeholders and colleagues to develop strong strategic overview of where the business is growing and why and be able to look forward to developing and changing needs of the clients.

About the TeamThe candidate will work in close collaboration with colleagues in many different areas across Swiss Re Life and Health organisation, in particular Client Markets, Life & Health Structured Solutions team and Financial Markets teamAbout You

• 5 to 10 years of Life and Health insurance industry experience
• A strong technical understanding of structured and financial markets transactions in the L&H space, qualified actuary, CFA or accountant
• Familiar with life insurance business from a financial perspective and capital management concepts - understanding of IFRS 17, risk based & regulatory capital frameworks is a must
• Ability to work independently, develop solutions and priorities opportunities
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written in English, additional language skills on Japanese and Korean will be a big plus
• Excellent collaboration skills and strong strategic skills
• Ability to build and maintain a strong network of contacts in the APAC market
