Job Description

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Fokker Services, you will be working closely with our dedicated maintenance team. You will be responsible for successfully carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks on aircraft according to Fokker Services procedures and aviation regulations.

Part A - Job Summary

A

Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE)

is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and certification of aircraft to ensure they meet airworthiness standards and regulatory requirements. They diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform inspections, and certify that aircraft are safe for flight.

Part B. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

To perform and certify aircraft maintenance by Technical Documentation and Company Procedures. Delivery of a Safe and Serviceable aircraft back to the operator Support and assignment of Tasks and oversight of Technicians, providing clear directions, feedback, guidance, and support for maintenance or modification of aircraft allocated to them. Ensure maintenance performed on aircraft under their control is conducted in compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. Behave in a manner that reflects the professional integrity of their department when dealing with internal and external customers (promoting company values).

Part C. Required Experience, Competencies & Qualifications

Ideally an, CASA (Australia), or EASA Aircraft Maintenance License, or a alternatively a licence that is transferable via RPL ( Recognition of Prior Leaning) to an CASA license; These include (but not limited to) -, CAAS, DCAM, etc.; Will be required to hold at least one type rating on an Airline Transport Category Aircraft; Note: Specific Type Training (Bonded) will be offered to suitable candidates At least two years of experience as an LAE Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English proficiency in reading/writing) * Good customer relationship skills
