Responsibilities:

• Lead the Life Product section.
• Develop and deliver SFA\'s life insurance product strategy to ensure we have a competitive and comprehensive suite of products for our advisers and customers.
• Managing the product shelf and product lifecycle for on-boarding/off-boarding
• Perform due diligence on products/providers and facilitate the approval by senior management team.
• Provide subject matter support/review to other depts, including content related to products features/rules. This includes maintenance of product information and competitive analysis and ensuring they are updated, relevant and accessible to other depts and salesforce.
• Execute the standard operating procedure (SOP) for product due diligence and recommend process improvement.
• Function of main liaison persons with product partners and communication of partners initiatives related to products.
• Engagement with distribution
• Review/guide the Basis of Recommendation (BOR) and ensure product mapping validation tagging are correctly updated on fact-find module. Provide updates to content on the same module to uphold quality of advice made by the sales force.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.
• Ensure service standards between SFA and Strategic Business Partners are met.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in the Insurance industry.
• Knowledge and experience in financial planning.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products, product management practices, and due diligence processes.
• Excellent inter-personal and effective communication skills both written and verbal, building strong relationships at all levels.
• Detail-focused, highly analytical orientation.
• Ability to work independently with good time management skills.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to insurance products.
• Self-motivated with the ability to identify key issues and recommend practical solutions.
