General Scope of Work

The incumbent will report to Testing & Commissioning Manager and be part of NE/MOD team. He will perform the end to end from installation to testing & commissioning works of Otis lifts.

Job Responsibilities: * Safety -

• Ensure WWJSSS compliance on site, and product safety are being checked and adhered to
• Always follow the in-house rules and regulations.
• Quality -

• Implement quality initiatives rolled out by the manager
• Responsible for the equipment inspection result (IPC, OFAR & AE inspection)
• Responsible for the equipment performance during the DLP
• Technical & Operations -
• Liaise with relevant site personnel (installers, project manager / engineer, safety coordinator, etc.) for site arrangement and technical issues
• Pre-requisites -
• Min 5 years in a similar role within the lift & escalator industry
• Basic English is required
• Perform the whole installation from plumb of shaft verticality to wiring works until ready to start-up slow speed.
• Commission the lift in accordance with the agreed specification parameters
• Test the lift in accordance with the relevant test document and procedure
• Carries out the final inspection with internal QC inspector and the Authorised Examiner.

• Responsible for the lift well security (safe for other trades and public etc.) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the equipment
• Attend & participate in staffs toolbox meetings
• Take part in meetings and workgroups related to quality and technical issues
