Job Description

Overview:

Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all lifting operations on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate lifting activities in accordance with approved lifting plans and safety regulations. Conduct risk assessments and ensure all lifting gear and equipment are properly inspected and certified. Brief and direct the lifting team (crane operators, riggers, signalmen) before each lift. Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong understanding of cranes, slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting gear. Good knowledge of WSH regulations, lifting plans, and site safety procedures. Able to lead, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the lifting crew and site management.

Work Environment:

Works mainly at construction sites, shipyards, and industrial facilities where heavy lifting operations are performed. Works closely with project managers, engineers, crane operators, and safety personnel to ensure safe lifting execution. Must be prepared to work outdoors and in varying site and weather conditions.

Requirements:

Valid

Lifting Supervisor Safety Course (LSSC)

certification (MOM-recognised). Relevant experience in

construction

marine

, or

oil & gas

sectors preferred.
