JOB SCOPE

• To setup, coordinate, and operate audio and lighting equipment for Marquee, Avenue, Lavo and Koma.
• To comply with all WSH rules and regulations when carrying out duties.
• To follow the work schedule and instructions from Production Manager
• Such services include but not limited to liaising with clients / departments, design, supply, install, dismantle, standby operations of lighting systems / equipment in accordance to / event orders / service orders / on site instructions etc. for event production in Marina Bay Sands Marquee Night Club.
• This position will also be responsible for safety, maintenance and inventory control of lighting system and equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to interpret a lighting designer's plan.
• Able to rig, focus and operate the necessary lighting equipment.
• Able to programme consoles and show control before a show.
• Need good technical knowledge about how lighting equipment works and how it is operated during shoots to produce different lighting effects.
• Able to operate manual and computer-controlled lighting systems during a show. (Grand-Ma & MA-PC)
• Able to maintain the lighting equipment in good safe working condition.
• Able to take on frontline electrical maintenance duties when needed.
• Able to operate within current health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Keeping abreast of the advances in technologies and techniques in the audio-visual-lighting (AVL) industry.
• Have strong knowledge of music of all genres.
• Have strong knowledge of Grand-Ma, MA-PC and show control.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audio-visual-lighting (AVL) industry.
• Proficiency in lighting software.
• Knowledge in CAD and schematic drawings preferred.
• Strong background in audio-visual-lighting (AVL) services and operations.
• Able to lift up to 25KG without assistance.
• Able to work days, nights, public holidays, eve of public holidays and any peak periods and any shift per the business needs and requirements.
• Experience in valuations/operations and solutions.
• Experienced using computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel power point and paint.
• Knowledge of basic computer networking skills and back-ends video patching.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of WSH as it applies to events.
• Have strong knowledge of audio-visual-lighting (AVL) systems.

Competencies

• Comfortable with working in a noisy environment.
• Possess physical and mental stamina for long working hours.
• Possess basic computer skills.
