Job Description

:

• Implement and maintain Linux-based and VMware-based systems
• Configure, deploy, and manage virtual machines and virtual networks
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Perform maintenance tasks such as system backups, updates, and patches to ensure secure and efficient network operations
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify, and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system performance and availability
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the proper integration of systems and technologies
• Design, implement, and maintain a highly available VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi and Horizon View
• Plan and implement upgrades and patches to the Linux & VMware environment
• Develop and maintain system documentation related to the Linux & VMware environment, including standard operating procedures, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux and VMware system administration
• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat
• Extensive knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi and Horizon View
• Experience with VMware performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Understanding of network and storage technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SAN/NAS
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with disaster recovery solutions and strategies for VMware environments
