About the job Loans Admin Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Loans Admin Officer to support our Hire Purchase and Insurance lending team. As a Loans Admin Officer, you will be responsible for processing loan applications, preparing loan agreements, liaising with customers and insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. You will work closely with the lending team to deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the growth of the company\'s lending portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Process loan applications for Hire Purchase and Insurance products, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Prepare loan agreements and related documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with customers and insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance policies and claims
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements, using loan management software or other relevant tools
  • Monitor loan performance and follow up on delinquent accounts, working with the collections team as needed
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation related to the lending portfolio, contributing to the development of business strategies and goals
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loan administration or related roles, preferably in the Hire Purchase and Insurance lending industry
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Knowledge of lending regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles
  • Familiarity with loan management software or other relevant tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
