Role title: Logistics Coordinator, Branch of Rusal Marketing GmbH in SingaporeCompany backgroundUnited Company RUSAL is one of the world's largest aluminium producers and the biggest low carbon aluminium producer. We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will take an integral and active part in arranging logistics processes for transportation of aluminium to customers in Asian market.The role will report to the Head Logistics unit, Asia.Location of the role: Singapore.The purpose of the roleHandling back office tasks for logistics operations in Asia (filing tenders, contracts, handling supplier invoices). Development and maintenance of international logistics in various international markets through optimisation of the existing supply chains and development of new delivery networks to existing and potential customers.Role responsibilities1. Logistics document filing in internal documentation system and SAP2. Reflecting metal movement in SAP3. Verification of forwarders' logistics-related invoices4. Arranging tenders for logistics services including all necessary tender and contractual documentation as per the internal regulations of Company.5. Obtaining quotations for logistics operations6. Preparation of guidelines on execution of contracts in relation to supply chain activities and goods transportation activities7. Analysis of freight market and provision of guidance on the selection of logistic partners (sea-transportation from warehouses in Asia, transhipment, warehousing, trucking, railing). Identification and proposals on best business decisions based on the balance of price, quality and the Company's market competitiveness.8. Liaising with freight counterparties, stevedoring, warehousing companies, etc and other participants of inland logistics chains9. Taking part in investigations and settlement of logistics related incidents and claims.10. Personal inspection of logistics locations and processes (ports, warehouses, vessel operations) and reporting.11. Participation in the Company's continuous improvement programmes12. Management of surveys of aluminium products and logistical processes relating to their transportation cycle13. Analysis and reports on actual transportation costs, operational reports on the status of transportation under the developing logistics projects14. Informing management on a regular basis on plans, results, current and anticipated problems and risks; proposals on problem solutions and risk mitigation.15. Operating internal company IT systems (SAP, paydox etc)Desired skills and experience1. Fresh graduate or last year student2. Bachelor degree in Logistics / Commerce or Economics.3. Languages: English - fluent. 4. Qualities: attention to detail, pro-active and taking initiative, strong analytical, organization and planning skills, problem analysis and problem-solving, keen to learn, corporate spirit, commitment.5. Ability to build rapport with counterparts at various levels6. Good command of general MS Office application suite.
