Roles & Responsibilities : 1) Operational Logistic

• Ensure standardisation to global logistic processes & procedures as required.
• Responsible for full spectrum shipping related documents, including import and export. Cross-trade shipping, trans-shipment. Such as Invoices, Packing list, B/L, AWB, C/O, L/C and other relevant shipping documents.
• Monitor and coordinate with counterparts for booking, shipment delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and service providers on matters related to shipment coordination.
• Ensure all delivery deadlines and requirements are fulfilled.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of purchase order.

2) Cost Management

• Analyse areas of corporate logistics and determine cost-effective means for logistic supplies including freight, packaging and additional related costs. Perform verification of vendors, carriers and co-loaders invoices.
• Negotiate effective transport/logistics fare rates with transporters/forwarders to improve the supply chain.

3) PPIC (Production Planning & Inventory Control)

• Responsible and coordinating with countries on inventories, production & sales.
• Ensure inventory obtained at a healthy stock level, collaborating with Demand Planning, Production, Purchasing, Finance and Business on inventory controls to meet Supply Chain KPI.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in the logistic industry would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in shipping documents.
• A degree or diploma from polytechnic in any discipline. Business, logistics, inventory management or related fields preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, good interpersonal & communications skills and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-starter with a strong hands-on mentality. Meticulous and have an eye for details
• Ability to deliver quality work to tight deadlines, organised and agile in reacting to challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to speak English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese counterparts.
