Logistics Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities- Monitor the import shipment ETA, forward relevant documents to appointed forwarder for cargo clearance & update inventory report- Liaise with appointed forwarder to secure vessel space once receives Sales Order from Sales department- Liaise with internal departments (Warehouse & QC) for cargo availability & quality approval status- Create Standard Transport Order (STO) in SAP system & generate picking list. - Hand over the picking list to warehouse personnel for cargo preparation- Arrange transport with forwarder for export cargo collection & local delivery. - Update relevant parties (internal or external) if there is any issue arise (eg; container damaged, cargo damage during transfer, vessel delay & etc) - Prepare incident report & monitor for the closure timeframe- Verify supplier invoice before proceeding to create Payment Request in SAP- Filling - Ad-hoc duties assigned by superiorRequirements-Diploma holder in Logistics/Supply Chain Management-Fresh graduates are welcome to applyHas knowledge in using: -Microsoft Office Excel, Words-SAP
